Welcome Back

Welcome back to school!
Welcome back to our class blog. We hope you have all had a fantastic summer and a well-earned rest.
The first week back to school for our new Year 6 pupils has been incredible. The pupils have shown up, ready to learn and eager to start the school year in a positive way. We've had Head Boy and Head Girl speeches, applications for Committees, work on the UNCRC Rights of the Child, revision of place value in Maths, handwriting, letter writing and much more.
Spelling lists and groups are on Google Classroom and under the 'Homework' section on our class page on the school website. Our first spelling test will be next Friday.
Reading books will be chosen next week and pupils will have a book bag to bring home. Please use this book bag to transport your school reading book to and from school every day. Reading books will be required to be brought into school daily.
Mathletics assignments have been set for homework this week alongside spelling. Edshed will be accessible for spelling homework from next Friday and new Learning Log homework books will be sent home next Friday with a task.
A reminder that both outdoor learning and PE take place on a Thursday.
We look forward to welcoming you into class on Wednesday 10th for Meet the Teacher.
Have a great weekend.
Mrs Antoniou and Mrs Heavyside.
