What a fantastic week it’s been in Dosbarth Draenog! Our pupils have been showing great focus, resilience, and creativity as we near the end of our half term.

We began the week by completing some of our tests, and we were so proud of how everyone approached them with determination and a positive attitude. After that, we turned our attention back to our Quest Narratives, adding exciting twists, brave heroes, and mysterious settings — the imagination and vocabulary on show were truly impressive!

In Maths, we’ve been working hard to master column addition and subtraction. Pupils have been challenging themselves with multi-step problems and showing how to use checking strategies carefully.

Meanwhile, our Science learning has taken us on an illuminating journey into the world of light. We explored how light travels, how we see, and even how it might have been important in castle life — from using torches and lanterns to designing defensive lookout towers.

We’re so proud of the curiosity and enthusiasm the class has shown across all their learning this week. Well done, Dosbarth Draenog!
