Where has that warm sphere gone from the sky?

Dosbarth Draenog - 18.9.25

This week, Dosbarth Draenog have been on a journey through Llangan—exploring its past, present, and potential future! Our mini-inquiry helped us understand what makes our village special, and pupils used their persuasive writing skills to encourage others to visit. From historical landmarks to community spirit, their speeches were full of passion and purpose.

In maths, we reinforced our understanding of place value, using it to tackle increasingly complex addition and subtraction problems. Pupils created their own sums and explained their strategies with confidence.

In Forest School, we took our learning outdoors and explored the safe use of simple tools. Pupils worked in pairs to use a knife and hacksaw, following safety steps and supporting each other. It was brilliant to see their independence grow as they shaped wood and created their own designs.

Thank you for all your support.
