11/4/25 - ๐ŸŒ Llanganโ€™s Great Sustainability Summit โ€“ What a Term! ๐ŸŒŠ

As we head into the Easter holidays, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly outstanding term for our class. Our learning journey has taken us deep into the world of sustainability through our big question: "How can we save our oceans?" – and what an impact the children have made!

This week, we proudly took part in Llangan’s Great Sustainability Summit, where every class in the school shared their learning from this term. Our pupils were incredible. They stood up and spoke with confidence, passion, and purpose about the importance of protecting our oceans, and they showcased their work with pride. From detailed research to creative posters, reports, artwork, and even action plans for the future — their efforts were inspiring.

Behind the scenes, the children have spent the last few weeks preparing, practising, and producing some of their best work to date. They worked collaboratively, thought critically, and showed genuine care for the world around them. It was a joy to watch them step up and share their voices so powerfully with others.

To round off this brilliant term, we celebrated today with a joyful Easter Hoppathon! Over the course of an hour, the children spent half their time enjoying an exciting Easter egg hunt run by our fabulous PTA, and the other half bouncing to their hearts’ content on a giant bouncy castle. Smiles, laughter, and a few chocolatey faces were the perfect way to mark the end of term!

I’m incredibly proud of every single child — not just for what they’ve learned, but for the way they’ve grown in confidence, compassion, and curiosity.

Wishing you all a joyful, restful, and well-earned Easter break. Enjoy the sunshine (hopefully!), time with family, and all the chocolate eggs that come your way.

See you in two weeks, ready for more adventures! ๐Ÿฃ๐ŸŒž
