Pili Pala Class: A Celebration of Culture, Creativity, and Books!

Eisteddfod, Baking and World Book Day

What an exciting time it has been in Pili Pala Class! Our little ones have been busy immersing themselves in a whirlwind of creativity, culture, and reading as we celebrated both the Eisteddfod and World Book Day. Here’s a glimpse into all the wonderful activities we’ve enjoyed!

🎭 Eisteddfod Performances

Pili Pala Class took to the stage for the Eisteddfod, showcasing their amazing talent and enthusiasm. Our children truly shone! It was a joy to see them embrace Welsh traditions and celebrate the rich culture of Wales. The pride on their faces as they performed was simply priceless, and their hard work paid off as they captivated everyone with their enthusiasm and spirit.

🧑‍🍳 St. David’s Day – Welsh Cakes Galore!

In honour of St. David’s Day, Pili Pala Class rolled up their sleeves and got baking – and what a treat we had! The children made traditional Welsh cakes, learning all about this delicious Welsh delicacy. With flour on their hands and smiles on their faces, they mixed, flipped, and enjoyed every moment of the process. The results were delicious – and what a great way to experience Welsh culture through food!

📚 World Book Day – Sharing the Magic of Books

World Book Day was a huge hit in Pili Pala Class, as we celebrated the joy of reading! Our little bookworms had the chance to share their favourite books with the class. From The Gruffalo to The Titanic, the children proudly presented their beloved stories and told us what made them so special. It was wonderful to hear their enthusiasm for reading and how books can spark their imaginations and curiosity.

A Heartfelt Thank You

A huge thank you to all the parents and families for supporting the children throughout these special activities. Whether it was cheering them on at the Eisteddfod, helping with home tasks, or sharing your favourite books, your involvement truly made these celebrations extra special.

We’re so proud of everything Pili Pala Class has achieved over the past week. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for the children to engage with Welsh traditions, explore the magic of reading, and, most importantly, have fun while learning.

We look forward to many more exciting adventures together!
