This week, after lots of practise, we proudly performed our nativity play 'A Midwife Crisis' for our families. We are so impressed with the children's confident performances and thank our families for supporting them in learning their lines and songs, as well as providing wonderful costumes. Our COOL challenges had a festive/winter twist, including building a sleigh in the construction area (using our measuring skills to ensure it fit all of Santa’s presents), making snowmen in the fine motor area while describing their emotions in Welsh, and creating wanted posters for the Grinch! We also began learning about different religious celebrations, focusing on Christmas and Hanukkah. The children explored the key elements of each  celebration and worked on comparing and contrasting them. We ended the week on an exciting note by going to see Cinderella at the Panto!
