Dosbarth Gwenynen Blog 12.9.25
We have had a very exciting week in Dosbarth Gwenynen! 🌟
The children were delighted to welcome PSCO Angela into our school. She talked to us about her important job in the community and answered lots of brilliant questions from the children. Everyone enjoyed learning about how she helps to keep us safe.
Later in the week, we went on a walk around our local area. The children spotted lots of interesting things and enjoyed talking about places that were familiar to them. This was a wonderful way to start thinking about what makes our community special.
In our phonics learning, we have been focusing on the sound “m”. The children have been exploring words that begin with “m” and have been practising saying and hearing the sound in different activities.
✨ Looking ahead to next week
We will continue learning more about our local area and begin creating a 3D model together. This will give the children the chance to use their creative and problem-solving skills while thinking about the places we see every day.
📘 Homework
Homework books have been sent home today. Please make sure they are returned by Wednesday 24th September so we can celebrate the children’s work in class.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are so proud of how well the children are settling in and can’t wait for another busy week of learning and fun! 🐝
