Dosbarth Mochyn Ddaear have been busy finishing their mini-inquiry all about Llangan. Pupils explored what makes our village unique and used their persuasive writing skills to craft speeches that would make anyone want to visit! Their use of emotive language and strong arguments was impressive.

In maths, we’ve been deepening our understanding of place value, using it to solve challenging addition and subtraction problems. Pupils created their own number sentences and explained their reasoning clearly, showing great progress.

Forest School gave us the chance to apply practical skills. Pupils learned how to use a knife and hacksaw safely, working with a partner to follow a dynamic risk assessment. It was wonderful to see their teamwork and care for each other as they shaped wood and explored tool use in a real-world context.

These children have grown up so much in a year.
