Where do these weeks go?

In another week packed full of learning, we enjoyed the opportunity to use our arboretum on Thursday and build dens in our Forest School session. The pupils have been learning how to tie knots the last few weeks, so I set them the challenge of setting up a den in groups. The pupils demonstrated excellent collaboration and communication skills to successfully set up 3 dens.

Elsewhere, the pupils have been focusing on fractions in maths and we are coming to the end of our Literacy journey around poems. This has been one of my favourite Literacy journies and I cannot wait to show you what the pupils have created next week. 

In our Inquiry session, the pupils have been busy learning about renewable energy and reflecting on the learning gained by the Year 5 and 6 pupils from their trip to Parc Stormy.
